Eva Harmuthová, OBOE/RECORDER

Eva studied recorder in The Netherlands at the Rotterdam Conservatory with Thera de Clerck and Han Tol and at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague with Reine-Marie Verhagen, Peter van Heyghen and Heiko ter Schegget. In 2005, she obtained her master’s degree of music with specialization in recorder and chamber music. In 2006, she graduated with a master’s degree of music pedagogy and started learning the oboe. She took private lessons with Diego Nadra and subsequently studied with Frank de Bruine at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague (Bachelor degree in 2011). Eva took masterclasses and lessons with, among others, Marion Verbruggen, Peter Holtslag, Sébastien Marq, Ton Koopman, Katharina Arfken and Alfredo Bernardini. As a soloist, chamber musician and orchestral member, she has performed in various European countries and Mexico, with ensembles such as Collegium 1704, The Northern Consort, Concerto Barocco, Czech Baroque Ensemble and members of the Handel & Haydn Society Boston. She regularly performs with her own ensemble Giardino Musicale.
