Esther Crazzolara, VIOLIN/CONCERTMASTER

Esther was born in Bruneck, South Tyrol. She studied the violin at the Conservatory Claudio Monteverdi in Bolzano with Georg Egger and obtained her diploma in 2005 with distinction. In 2004, 2005 and 2007, she was a member of the Gustav Mahler Academy in Bolzano and took part in masterclasses with Christian Altenburger, Alfred Altenburger and Friedemann Eichhorn. In 2005 she started studying at the Mozarteum in Salzburg with Lukas Hagen and obtained her bachelor’s degree in 2008. From 2005 on, she followed various courses in baroque violin with Stanley Ritchie, Hiro Kurosaki, Anne Schumann, Reinhard Goebel and Enrico Onofri. In 2008 she decided to specialize in baroque violin with Enrico Parizzi at the Evaristo Felice Dall’Abaco Conservatory in Verona. Esther was a member of the Britten-Pears Baroque Orchestra in Summer 2008. She has played with various baroque ensembles such as Cordia, Polyhymnia and the Salzburger Barockensemble.
