Sara Uneback, VIOLIN

Sara studied the modern violin at the University of Music and Drama in Gothenburg with Lisbeth Vecchi. After graduating she received a scholarship to study baroque violin studies at the Evaristo Felice Dall´Abaco Conservatory in Verona with Enrico Parizzi. During this period she also studied chamber music with Franco Pavan and Stefano Veggetti. Sara has attended several masterclasses with among others Stanley Ritchie, Christine Busch and Anne Schumann, and in 2008 she was selected for the Seminari Internazionale di Musica Antica in Vicenza under Christopher Hogwood. In 2008 she was a finalist with her own baroque ensemble Arden Quartet, in the most important competition for young baroque ensembles in Sweden, at Stockholm Early Music Festival. In May 2009 her ensemble was among the finalists at another important competition in Sweden. After her studies in Italy, Sara has been invited to play with several baroque orchestras such as Göteborg Baroque, Ensemble Zimmerman and Ensemble Cordia for both concerts and recordings.
